DD/DS Floppy Sources?

Hey all,

I checked the MPC60 Bible and the sources for DD/DS floppys are now down.

Can someone show me where i can get bunchs for a good price?
I just bought a 60 and its should be arriving next week, but i need some floppies
until i get the SCSI and 3.10OS upgrade.

Any help would be awesome.

i got a whole bunch at staples for like 20 bucks. go to an office store dude. shit even target has em.

Are they DD/DS disks or HD? i need DD/DS to use with the 60, HD disks damage the drive dont they?

You could put tape over the hole, but I am not sure about damging it over time.

Can anyone verify yes or no for sure if using a HD disk in a DD drive will damage the drive or not?

Try it and find out...

Id much rather not burn out the drive in my machine thanks.....

I would say your best bet is to try and find some at some kind of office supply warehouse or similar. But it's getting harder, dd's are getting really obsolete.

If that fail, ebay.

It will not damage the drive. However the data on the disc may get corrupted after time since there there would be an imbalance between the drive and the disc.
