Just got a 160 gig Hard Drive Upgrade for my MPC 1000

I just got a HDM10 + 160 gig hard drive (samsung). The original order was for a 120 gig hard drive... this was a so called free upgrade...from hiphoptools.com..after formatting it's only 127 gigs...127 gigs does that sound right?

MPC uses the FAT32 file system, which limits the max capacity to 127GB. So I guess it's the max u can get on MPC...

as i wrote, my hd reads 157.xxx.xxx.xxx that would be around 147 gb. the japanese site stated an 160 gb drive as well.

can i see a pic of the connections on it please.

pic of hte hdmi 10 is on a sticky in the 1k forum i believe the guy that did cf internal mod. and the connection is just a regular laptop hard drive connection.

I just had an order from them last week come in and mine shows 130gb. I too ordered the 120gb and got the 160gb instead but I really have no problems with the extra storage.

Yeah, you just can't use anything over 127gb... not a biggy though if you're getting a little extra anyways.

Yeeaaaaahhh, I'm sure 127 gigs would be PLENTY. How many snares would it take fill that?
