is there a way i can hook my keyboard up to my mpc if its not midi,,it has an rca output jack on the back of it..its an old casio but it sounds nice and i was just wondering if there was a way and if it could be explained before i go spend money on all the wires..thanx for any help

so i cant record onto the mpc while my beat is playing?

Depends on which MPC your using. The 1k can sample during playback so in that case I would have a scratch drum track playing while I play out what I want on the keys. I do this a lot with my Motif. I'll shut off midi and just mess around and sample it all. THen chop it up. I sample everything under the sun...including myself :lol:

im with you,i'll sample anything...im using it with the 2500..

so i just run the out from the keyboard to the in of the mpc?

hey pound,,i noticed that while im playing a sequences and then i want to record the keyboard,i can only record for maybe 2 or 3 bars,is there a way to change this,i have the 128 exm also???
