I disagree. What **** it up was the fact you could play burned games. Consumers don't have to buy games = no $$ for game designers = no love for system.

What really **** up the Dreamcast was that it came at an in between period, for one. Two, Sega announced they were getting out of the hardware business shortly after it dropped so there was hardly any third party support.

Though it had great games, Sega didn't support it and the industry black balled Sega for the Saturn fiasco (Bringing it out at E3 and then announcing that it was hitting the stores the next day)

They never forgave them for that, plus the Saturn cost too damn much.

The Dreamcast was doomed from the start, and that sucked because I really liked that little white box. But, I was very satisfied that the XBOX was modeled after it so it softened the blow when I gave it up, plus I wasn't giving Sony any of my money ever again.

Long live Dreamcast!

...if you were good at it. One could even turn their "real dollar" into a whole **** luncheon back in the day if someone was willing to put up 2 or 3 stamps to 1 USD. The Street Fighter series kept me and my little band of brothers well fed, complements of silly **** who weren't prepared for the onslaught of my multi hit Shoryuken via Ken! :lol:

all systems can play fake games, I got my xbox moded buying games for like 5 $ a disc :o
