quick question. I've been using an MP for years, but i'm kinda new to the DAW. I am using my mpc to control pro tools and reason. I am comfortable with the mpc sequencer so i want to sequence my music in the MP and then track it out to pro tools.
It's a new set up and i seem to have it all up and running just fine except i am having a problem looping samples. Lets say I have a sample that is 8 bars long; lets say a drum track.
I set a track on the mp to loop at 8 bars. I then program the MP (using steps) to play the sample for the entire 8 bars. I hit play and the sample runs and sounds perfect and when it gets to the last bar it drops in perfectly again right on the one where i programmed it; however the sample drops out at the third bar??? The sequencer continues to play along with pro tools click track until we get back to the one, the sample drops in again but then drops out at the 3rd bar again???
it just keeps doing that. Can anybody help me??
