Hey all...

I was wondering if there's anyway to audition samples from the load screen via any outputs other than the stereo mains or the headphone jack (stereo pair 1+2, for example). It should be possible, right? I mean, don't a bunch of folks use the 8 outs exclusively, bypassing the main outs? Until my left output is serviced, it's really the only way I have to monitor...

I'm using OS2XL on the 2500.

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Perhaps it isn't possible. Strange though.

If I have the 8-outs from the MPC plugged into an 8-in audio interface/mixing board and I'm not using the stereo mains, how am I supposed to audition samples?

I've never needed to do this before. Seems like it's pretty basic. Thanks in advance if anyone has an answer.

mikolo:

Yes, I could, but unfortunately the left out on the headphones is out too. It's a problem with the master left (likely on the board, not the outs themselves).

I don't see where in the mixer you can select the output for auditioning samples. Can you elaborate?

Well, Nym... There's my answer!

Thanks. That's unfortunate. However, my new board should be here by Tuesday, so it's no biggie I guess. I'm dying to really get busy on this machine though!
