the interface card on the neko kept acting up. After reading reviews, the interface card they used (presonus firebox) suffered major issues (sorta like the xbox red ring of death).

I tried upgrading to SP3 which was supposed to fix the problem, but the system wouldnt let me. The only solution was to do a complete re-install which would have voided my warranty and I would of lost all the timbaland sounds.

at that point, I was pissed.... I sent that shit back immediately!

That is the one... But I convinced the good peeps over at Kmart to honor an extended warranty I may or may not have purchased... Let's hope it is fixable, if not they will refund me what I paid for it, so it is a win win situation....

I haven't heard any bad news about the newer generation keyboards, this was the case with the Timbaland edition boards.
