meh, I have much better effects.... but none of them are hiding inside my mpc!
I like having it there incase. sometimes pushing play and messing with the effects on a specific sample can trigger some ideas.
The echos are fine... not too complicated of an effect.
the distortion I am not a huge fan of, but I rarely am when it comes to distortion (depending on the sample type)...
the reverb is not too bad ( I have definately heard worse.... although I have also heard better. I find different reverbs are quite different from pluggin to pluggin, unit to unit that having an extra one is a bonus)
the filter... it's a filter. I prefer using a parametric EQ to make some filters but this filter is not too bad.
The fx are not AMAZING, but for the average user they are a big plus. for the collectors the eb16 is a good investment when found cheap because the longer we wait the more rare they become.
