hi, my name is actuel and i bought an mpc4000....

well count me in as an official proud owner of a MPC4000! right now i'm updating the os to 1.60 and looking forward to finding my way around this machine. as a taunt or sheer syncronicity, they were bringing in an mpc60II (my first mpc). if they would have had a Z4/Z8 i probably would have scooped it up and did the 60II/Z4(8) combo.

anyways i'm psych'd and will be seeing more of you guys. oh and i know, read the manual.

I bought one mpc 4000+ two days ago, in mint condition for about 1.500 euro's...
Now is connected with the turntable, the emu sp 1200, s950, mpc 2kxl, 3kxl..

Actually, the price you paid is quite high. I bought my 2nd MPC4000 for 1500 Euros
in top notch condition, including 1,5 years of warranty, 8-out expansion and the
digital IN/OUT board.

I started with the 2500, but as time goes by, I'd prefer the 4k over the 2500
anyday by now.

Yes i know the price was a little high.. without the 8 out, but i'm in italy and i have found only this.. i think was never used and basically i bought this for receive must quickly and not die of anxiety about a possible purchase abroad ..
