LOL... so many posts and not one with the right (I mean really right answer)... So here it is:

YES, you can Convert Sequences and Songs to .wav WITHOUT having to record it internally or with external devices...

Soooooo......get ready.... 3, 2, 1...

There's a Convert Function in Song Mode of JJ OS... simple as that

Press MODE+PAD5, in the field at top, scroll with the data wheel to MAIN OUT, press F6 (record), and then press PLAY START. when your song or sequence is done playing, press F6 (stop) and then name your sample, press F5 (keep).

now your recording is in the memory. Press MODE+PAD3, scroll down to where your recording is, select where you want to save it, and press F6 (do it)

and you're done.

I like this function a lot, cheers!

I think you have to convert the song to a sequence first, then you can record it.

You mean the muted tracks? Yeah the mutes are ignored on conversion. You have to go through the sequences and delete all the data on the muted tracks.

hi,

Is there any faster way to save all tracks (seperately) at a time?

I need to do this to have all tracks in wav files but separately and than mix them in DAW like ProTools or Logic Studio.

I have JJOS1, meaby higher versions of JJOS can do that?

Thanks for help,
SercaBit

chiefr_suthrland wrote:How would one go about saving a song as WAV. on the 2000XL :smoker:

Record the audio outputs into some sort of audio software on a computer, save as wav.

Might get better answers in the MPC2000/XL section of the forums?
