Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

ive been recording into audacity and then speeding teh sample up then recording it into my mpc 2000xk ( to fit on floppy disks) but once i slow the sample down again when its in the machine it seems alot more muffled and stuff any tips on how to do this and not have it sound all muffled is there a setting i need to use or mabey im speeding it up to much ?? or jus give me your ways of doing the speed up trick and stuff

use the pitch and tempo controll in the param screen there yuo can speed up or slow down the sample.....you should do all your work on the mpc then transfer to the comp you llose frequency when transfering to digital.do all your work on the mpc then if you have to transfer the less you have to do on the comp the better your sound will be. IMHO
