I am going to be connecting my keyboard synth and 2 mics along with the MPC 1000 up to a mixer in the near future....(finances pending)

Now heres my dillema...I have my MPC currently hooked up the the pc using the SPDIF/Fiber Optic Cable because it records in much better quality than stereo. Is there a mixer that uses SPDIF/Fiber Optic or do all of them come equipped with this?

Im asking this because I have an old ass 4 channel mixer I stole from school and it doesn't have digital in or out.

any help would be greatful :)

Go for a digital mixer. They have the digital ins/outs along with USB and sometimes Firewire connections for the PC.
