Getting My First MPC - I Chose The Vintage 2kXL - Setup Qs

Ive been makin beats for 2 years using a turntable and my laptop and ive decided to get the 2kXL for my first MPC. Im watchin a few on eBay and i have a few questions about setting it up.

Im getting some studio monitors after i purchase the 2kXL. So for now i have a decent pair of computer speakers with a subwoofers. Those will hook up to the 2kXL through the headphone port, right?

I have a lot drum sounds on my computer. How will i transfer them to the MPC? Will it be easier to find one with a card reader?

How will i get beats i finished from the MPC to the computer? Again, will it be easier with a card reader?

Will a midi cable and audio interface help with transfer? What exactly can i do with a MPC connected to an audio inerface connected through midi? I use Adobe Audition..

And im pretty sure the turntable will connect right into the MPC...

Hello.You should make sure you get a manual for your mpc.Perhaps just download it on the computer.But once you have your mpc it will be alot easier to sort out.

no, the mpc2000 doesn't have a phono pre amp, ur stuck to the jack inputs, you'll have to get a phono pre amp.
as for the card reader it would be easier to get a audio interface with midi, that way u could get the seq rcrded in da pc by midi and da audio by da interface, I don't know if explaind corrctly, but I dont speak english that well
