Im quite excited, not to sure what im gonna be looking for, probably just some crazy looking shit. I dont really have a genre that i stick to, i like ambient, soul and electro music. The only thing that'll wind me up is if i pick up a bunch of records and there's nothing to sample. I cant see that happening though. Anyway just thought i'd share this with you. Peace and love as always.

cool. have fun.

make sure to dig the dollar bins too (if wherever you are going has em). you can go nuts and buy all sorts of shit in there without getting too butthurt if you don't find anything once you've gone through and listened to em.

R U GOIN TO A STORE?
OR
YOU DIGGIN at thrift's?

diggin in store: just look in the disirewd section's those are best if you know what your looking for breaks ,eletro,so on and so on....usually those records are more expensive, your paying for high quality traxx,

diggin in thrifts or garage sales:
realy dont recommend if your hurting for money and not will to take chances on your music, you realy have to know your stuff but can take alot of risk on albums with afros on them yeah theres good ones but just as much as the good ones theres bad ones too.

just keep an open mind to everything and you will find something to sample from any record you get.
i realy suguest you read up on these threads theres mass info on alot of records.

oh yeah another thing you may not find newer music in the thrifts most of the times.altho i havebeen seeing some tracks from like mid90's to mid 2000,
found a Jam and Spoon - Stella
track for 1$

main thing dont buy everything you touch, get the hang of what your buying first,
expand your mind to other music listen to classic radio cause thats what your diggin in those tracks sometimes learn teh nammes of songs and artist, then labels and years, dont limit your self to just diggin for one year yuo'll miss out on other tracks someone else may pick up . believe me when people see you diggin in records the always have that curiosity to want to go over and digg as well even tho they aint got a turn table , they'll buy it for art deco, man i can't stand them people warping art to make art.oh well have fun.
peace
