JJOS probelm lcd blank

Hmm i was making some crack on my mpc 1000 today and all of a sudden the screen goes blank its still bright n lit up but no text or anything i dunno wat to do shits drivin me nuts can anyone gimme step by step instuctions on the os install so i can try to reinstall n see if that fixes it. i just need to kno wat buttons to press to isntall os any help would be kindly appreciated...

Have you already try to adjust the contrast with STOP + data wheel?

JJOS1 - If JJOS2 is installed, settings will retain user contrast angle. Otherwise from home screen, adjust screen contrast at startup.

JJOS2 - Upon initial installation, set the screen contrast angle, reinstall JJOS2 via the load screen. Setting should fix at users level.

The same at OSXL

i just took the mpc apart unplugged the lcd and plugged it back in still no luck...the contrast stuff dont work i cant see anything ont he screen its just glowing

Did you change the Screen for a blue or white one ?
When yes install the original Akai OS and adjust the Contrast.

Then install JJOS1 or JJOS2

If you did not change the Screen install the Akai OS and the JJOS1 or JJOS2 too.

i did not change lcds it just happened randomly i went to pee acme back n the shit was blank i tried reinstalling the os but it dont work i dunno if it installed correctly i put it on the cf card held down window n turned it on then hit record hopefully thats all i have to press cuz i cant read shit ps i can still hear sounds n shit just cant see

How old is your 1000? Is it the Blue/red one?
Could be, that the LCD has gone bad.

ya its the red and blue one ive had it for many years now no problems before except for shitty pads
