Bend-Range?

Hey everybody,

is there a way to adjust the bend range of the Pitch-Wheel?

Would be awesome if the Range could be adjusted for each program seperately, is this possible somehow?

If you connect a midi-keyboard to the MPC you can Pitch the Played Samples by using the Pitch-Wheel on the Keyboard.
The Range of this bending is 1 Octave up or down, but is there a way to adjust how "far" this pitching goes? Maybe only 2 semitones?

I know exactly what he's talking about and as a matter or fact, I've started a thread about this same issue several months ago (way back in January). He's talking about the pitch-band range for the pitchwheel, which is a parameter found on pretty much every midi keyboard/sound module/synthesizer. It mostly ranges between +12/-12 semitones (1 octave) or even +24/-24 semitones (2 octaves).

The sad truth is, no. The pitch-bend range is fixed on the mpc. I think an adjustable pitch-bend range parameter is something that should be added to the feature request list for the next OS update.

yeah - incoming pitch bend is fixed.

you can adjust the TUNE range of the q-links, tho. and that setting could be different for each program if you wanted.
