Who the f*ck are you??? Was I talking to you??? I imagine you created this name cause your a f*cking f@got and can't respond to me on your real name... I'm 18... I'll f*ck you up... Go f*ck yourself... I'm not a newbie, so go f*ck yourself double...

I simply never even attempted to use the Note Repeat... A while ago I said, "Hey let me try it"... I WAS holdin it down and hittin a pad, but it didn't seem to do anything... I looked in the Manual and (for lack of a good index) I couldn't find it... I got frustrated and came on here and asked my question... Someone who was actually interested in helping mentioned it has to be set on Quantizing to work... I usually record with Quantize off so that's why it didn't work...

It's people like you that create problems with this forum... I come on and ask a question (which is what this whole site is for anyway d!ckface)... You gotta hate because it makes you feel big to be a d!ck to someone... As if you're a better person than me cause you understand Note Repeat... It must feel great to talk in a condescending tone to people from your f*ckin high horse p*ssy... You must feel like a real f*ckin big man...

The manual may not have an index, but it does have a table of contents.

You didn't try hard enough and now you are just being very immature, people here take it as well as they dish it, so chill a bit, it is a basic function, and at 18, you got a lot to learn.

Got a lot to learn... F*ck you too... Yea it does have a Table of Contents that didn't show Note Repeat... SO I came one here and asked... And I don't dish it... I don't knock people for questions that I myself think are dumb... I mind my sh*t that I got goin on and just try to answer it honestly... No need for people to come on startin sh*t... Simple as that...

A lot to learn??? So school me then you f*ckin f@got...

I don't need to learn anything about the fact that people came on here tryin to start sh*t... They succeeded and now I'm tellin them off... Ain't two ways about it... If we were face to face I'd already have rocked their f*ckin jaw by now...

ya hear that!

looks like you're dishing it pretty hard there but you couldn't take a little jovial fun. Now you want me to skool you as a 'f@got' (it has two g's by the way)

Shall I bring the lube or you got your own? It sounds like your sphincter it a little tight, maybe a night with a tranny giving it to you where you don't wipe would do you some good!!

See? I can take it and give it. I ain't mad, but seriously, if you don't know what note repeat is, I'd hate to see a question you'd consider stupid!

yeah and that face to face talk is pointless, because you may have rocked their jaw, but how people roll near me, that would get you plugged and tossed onto a rooftop for swinging on some bullchit clownin.

Seriously that part made you sound the most intelligent... The nerve to call me dumb cause I didn't understand a function cause I don't quantize... Amazing...

And where you from... Sounds like everybody in your hood need to calm the f*ck down... I'd end up in a ditch or on a rooftop cause somebody talked sh*t and I backed mine up... We handle sh*t where I'm from... Everybody from your hood need to get a f*ckin grip it seems like...

Murs stated it best:

"Now I used to walk with the gun now I walk like a man
And I walk what I talk and I walk never ran
And I never say never but I mean hardly ever
And if shootin' is the solution then you're not that clever..."

"...Most of y'all wit heat is some paranoid ******"

Get some perspective...

yo man they was just clownin a little and you blew your lid man, you ain't gonna pin it on me,

Yeah, it's dead serious out here, if some cat started swinging and breaking jaws just because he got clowned a little, he'd get set straight.

You gotta be able to laugh at yourself man, cuz right now, they got the power, you're just reacting.

Nahh see... Heres where you got it twisted... I ain't pinnin a god damn thing on you... Sh*theads came on tryin to talk sh*t... I felt obligated to show them how that is properly done... I can also talk quite intellectually if you would care to venture into that realm, but there's a time and place for that...

I might not even get mad if I was a d!ck who constantly talked sh*t on people on this site like a lot of m***** do...

But see I'm a firm believer in there is no dumb question because even Dr. Dre or Premier or Timbaland or Madlib or whoever gotta ask a question or learn something new everyday... So when I get hated on because I never used a function that, by the way, is pretty f*ckin dumb (if I wanted to repeat the note perfectly quantized, Why wouldn't I just hit the f*ckin pad again?)... I get heated yes...

By the way, I noticed you still haven't told me where your from??? Maybe the suburbs or something judgin by the way you speak very passionately about how "dead serious" it is out "there", but you don't list where your from... Nor do you answer my question when I ask where your from???? Interesting...

Matt, c'mon. You didn't know what note repeat did?

Fine.

Couldn't find it in the manual?

Hard to believe, but also fine.

Here's where you took a wrong turn:

You obviously have access to the internet.

Let me tell you about a secret website.

Its address is http://www.google.com

Those in the know call it "Google".

Go ahead, check it out. I'll wait.

See that rectangle right above where it says "google search" and "i'm feeling lucky"?

Use your "mouse"(the thing that you slide around to click on things...you know..if not, just start another thread) and click in the rectangle.

Still with me? Its ok if you want to take a break.

Now, in that rectangle, type:

akai mpc note repeat

Click on the first website that comes up.

Whoa! Crazy right? Dang, this changes everything!

So next time you are wondering, say, what the play button does, or

what is a "MIDI"?

or

Why did my daddy touch my poo-hole?

Look to Google(.com)!!

Yay!!

Or you could just come on this forum and ask dumb questions, and get all mad when people make fun of you.

Because they will.

I will.

Get over it.

Or you could go f*ck yourself... Keep your f*ckin smarta$$ comments to yourself... Stop feelin like a big shot... I never said I didn't know what Note Repeat did... I said I couldn't get it to work.. Which ,as someone who actually understands the dynamics of this site, responded was because I had quantize off... Now if you'd liek to go f*ck yourself you may now do so...

And for your own little reference... MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface... It works sort of like a player piano... Doesn't play the music, but tells another instrument, through a series of number data, what notes to play, when, for how long and so on... Was invented I believe in 1986 if I'm not mistaken... Oh and by the way... Try Yahoo f@got...

Matt
I don't really use quantizing myself, but note repeat is a great thing to have... With a little imagination you can do lots of nice stuff with it, especially on live sets!

Yea I don't even really care anymore... I just like startin sh*t...   Actually I started playin wit it and came up wit some cool sh*t... Just set the NV Slider to the tuning of my snare and it sounded like I was DJin and choppin the Break... Almost like Beat Jugglin on the MPC
