Note repeat

Does anyone know if the note repeat funtcion on the MPC2000 can be used when recording into a software like nuendo. I have everything synced to Nuendo 2 it is the master senquencer. Is this not possible or would I need some kind of a a midi plug in to emulate this effect? If that is the case any ideas on were to locate that plugin?

make the mpc the master and it should work, idk if it works if the mpc is slaved, ive always had mine the master and never had problems note repeating any sounds on the computer
