MPC1000 RAM and CF card Recommendations

I just picked up a SanDisk 2GB CF for $16 at Micro Center. Works perfect.

Why is he asking that? He must think you need it for a laptop. The description fits perfect with what you need for the MPC so you'll be all set with this.

i just write to him "i need that one to my mpc 1000" but i dont know why, he ask me for that. i think i need to wait for his respond and tell him again what i need

and i thought i read somewhere that the OS lets the mpc read more room on CF cards.

I found a 4 gb kingston at Fry's for $ 12.99
And it works like a charm .

sandisk extreme3 16gb and sandisk ultra2 8gb works fine here with my 1k (jj os2xl).

What's up people? Just got my 1000 today, and it's only 16mb RAM, so I need an upgrade. Looking through this thread, I believe I've found two RAM chips that I can use, but I just need a second opinion if possible. First one is - http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3274844/K ... cat:Memory

Also, I've been looking for a CF card, and it seems a lot of people prefer sandisk, am I right?

is the right hard drive {Seagate Momentus 5400.2 30GB UDMA/100 5400RPM 8MB 2.5" IDE Hard Drive} i can get it for next to nothing, like 12 bucks and it's new, but is it the right one? or should i just get a 4-gb card to be safe? BE-EASY EVERYBODY
