There are several diffrent .wav file formats you may have gotten hold of one the MPC will not read.

is their anyway to change it to a format it can read? perhaps a audio converter?

even if your sound editor wont do it there should be any number of freeware sound apps floating around that will save as PCM

i dunno what it means, its just what they call it. it'll still be a .wav file, just in the save options it'll say PCM wav. it might not even say it but if it doesnt load in your mpc then you know its not a PCM wave.i think it may be windows standard. it'll still play on macs though - its just some wierd encoding garbage.

do a google on it....
