KORG microSAMPLER

Dj Pound, there is tune, level, pan, decay, and release. There are KAOSS FX for resampling. It doesn't appear to be a full-featured sampler. No mute groups, layers, loop points separate from start/end, etc. The focus seems to be fast live creativity. You don't get too deep into the programming of instruments, just record and go.

This thing has more realtime creative sampling potential than any other competing product.

Beat Thang would have to be more powerful than the MPC, with realtime flow like the microSAMPLER.
Otherwise it'd be better to just get a separate machine for each job.

MPC (for programming MIDI and in-depth sampling) + microKORG (for sound synthesis) + microSAMPLER (for fun sampling)

I definitely wanna cop this sampler for sure, but I'm real curious to know what the price will be.

MSRP $750.

The microKORG XL had an MSRP of $750 too.
You can buy one online for $500.

That means we can predict the microSAMPLER to be around $500.

It doesn't have filters, in the standard usage. The MPC has filters like low-pass, high-pass, that you can non-destructively apply to every sample. The microSAMPLER has built-in KAOSS FX that can either be set at the insert, so you can sample with some FX destructively, or at the master, so you can hear them non-destructively, but they're applied to everything. You only get 1, it's not like a low-pass filter on the MPC, it's like the 2 FX slots. That's why I said it doesn't have filters, using MPC terminology, it has effects.

looks like alot of fun a different way of working from drum machines always been curious about sampling keyboards but neva wanted a big ass 61/88 key baord but if the price is there this is something id cop.
