broken screen?

Hey just a quick question, in the middle of using my mpc i lost everything on the screen. It still lights up but all i get is a blank green screen, tried adjusting the contrast no luck. Im thinking my screen is broken anyone have this issue before? I've had it for over 2 years now and many times changed the contrast on accident but it just seems its busted this time.

Exactly the same thing happend to my 1000 just 5 minutes ago!! Don´t know what to do, anyone that can help?

Still no luck for me im hoping if I buy a new screen and put it in that it works. Just don't want to buy one and it does the same thing. Just want my mpc to work jeez!!!

Open it up and double check the ribbon

Yea, thats what I just tried, its all plugged in not loose at all. Dunno if the ribbon went bad some how I mean the screen still lights up. I got a new screen on the way hopefully it works I'll let you guys know when I try it.
