Create Error

Hello all,
I've been using the MPC 1000 for a few years now with the Akai OS.
I just recently started having a problem saving programs and samples.
I will go to save something and will get the "Create Error" message on
the lcd. Has anyone run into this problem and found out how to fix it?

Have u already tried to update the os?

I got the same problem when I overwrite a project, and i have to save two times to be shure not to miss my beat.
To save the project I select SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY, and i create a new directory.
Where is the mistake?

CRISIS!!! i made an ILL beat, and i can't save it because it's saying "create error" when i try to save the song as a wav file. this is a crisis! i'm not going to turn off the MPC until i figure out how to save the beat, so please help me before the machine melts. Gracias!

are you using jjos?... if so, you need to register it asap. it will then enable the save function.

what is jjos? could you tell me how to set that up without turning off the machine? thanks!
