bump for the dude who put a $1000 dollars down on a beat thang! haha!

I wouldn't pay $300 for that, but you went ahead and threw them a G?!

I hope it was your parents money...that's ridiculous dude! you could've got a 3K, a 2500, 3 MPC 1000's, a ticket to Hawaii, a million packs of Top Ramen, 1000 two liters of Soda, an eight ball some strippers and a video camera....

Well one things for sure,...the Beat Thang and Beat Kangs have left a bad taste in the mouths of the MPC-forums members. It's sad because they did make the machine appear to have some much potential.

Here's the Beat Thang at Namm, I had never seen this vid:

my update worked...but i didn't use the updater I had them send me the full install.

cuz they said they were having trouble with the
updater on windows.

I removed the old version and installed the new one, the mac one is working but I don't have a mac lol.

I talked to a few other windows folks that said their update worked fine, but I do know inflict3 def had some issues with
updating his joint...

the software has transport buttons, they just updated the midi so that you can use the transport
buttons on your midi controller to send mmc to the software now

there are still some things I want to see updated in the software, I think the next one is supposed to allow it to work as a plugin, then I can use it in ableton if I want

I don't think folks are hatin I think everyone should voice their own opinion and if a company is going to put themselves out there like that, then they gotta be ready for the backlash, plain and simple

Yo, B, lets design our own mpc killer, ittle have 17 pads, 3 effects, 129 megs of ram, 65 tracks, record in, and only be sold in the USA. When we release it, 2 years would have passed from our announcement date, we'll have taken thousands of $$$ inpre-orders, make up some faulty ass computer interface and distribute that all other the place, start shit with musicians and potential customers, and ran away at the first sight of dissaproval. But when it comes out, we'lle have stripped most features and ladened it with bugs. sound like a plan?

Did I mention inderchangable grillz and pads with spinners?
