Re Sampling using plugs like hardware anyone besides me?

Just wondering if people here use vst for re-sampling ... for example i use a lot of waves and URS strip pro and find using it like hardware and via audio interface/mpc5000 in outs really works good and improves the work flow... or adds at least a hardware type vibe. beats paying 10000 for hardware at this point...

Yes I'm with it sometimes.
I simply run the DJ Mixer thru the audio interface to FL or Cubase, use Comp or EQ or a lil reverb on that channels and route the signal to the ss950 or MPC.

Ultrabeat and battery! Those are two great drum sound design tools. Intakt and Sampletank have supplied 'nuff jungle loops and breaks.

Run line out of the interface into a DI into a pre and (sometimes) into a compressor/limiter. Sometimes a digital dump via USB is better though...
