hav a 2gb memory card with samples on but cant load samples

hello i have just got a 2gb memory card which has drum sounds loaded on i can load up the drum sounds like all the kicks and hear them when i press mode and program but when i try to load the rest. like all the snares into the program mode it wont let me and says insufficent memory or it loads them but now u cant hear the other drum sounds its loaded do you have to save the sounds once loaded im really stuck driving me mad please help cheers

read the manual...what do you think the problem is if it says "INSUFFICIENT MEMORY"??

well its a new memory card 2gb the sounds on it are only 500mb so there s plenty more space on the card so its not that

Take a look at the ram, you either have 16 or 128 mbs, either way you cannot load 500mbs of samples onto 16/128mbs of ram. You can load upto 16 or 128mbs of samples depending on how much ram you have installed.

cheers for the help starting to make more sense now so theres no way of loading thease sounds i only have the standard amout the machine comes with if u buy the 128 mb of ram ur still wont be able to load all the 500mb samples is that right u hav to load them up everytime u want to load a kit up cheers

really...... why would you want 500 mb of samples in one project?
Ive had 32 bit 30track mixes with fx n vox that are only 100 mb! (not on my mpc so dont get your hopes up
google RAM and figure out what it is and how it has nothing to do with the size of your cf card
get more ram 16mb is weak
