Disk Read Error

I load up the os and then it gives me disk read error right after. I could press main screen and everything will work except mixer, other, midi, sample, trim and program. Does anybody know how to fix it?

re-install a fresh copy of the os. Are you loading via scsi or the floppy?

This may sound odd, but having had similar issues, what I did was I pushed up on the floppy from underneath a little bit. Right in the center where the floppy is a little expossed I pushed up while its loading and the thing booted fine most times. I did, however, make a boatload of bootable zip disks eventually.
