I agree homie. I love buying a $40 item for $3 on ebay. Its the time it takes to get here that usually has me wanting to flip the phuck out.

and now it have gone 16 days since my order and still no sign of arrival any time soon.

ok i got the new pad upgrade today.

They feel more soft and they are more even But i do get double notes and if i have
full level i get the about the same rate as with the old pads..
so im pretty disappointed here... i have been saving for some time to afford this
200$ upgrade mainly to get rid of the doublenote shit.

i can understand that if you fill the gap inbetween the rubber and sensors it gives you
an more accurate and sensitive triggering. but does it really fixx the doublenote problem?

It seems that only some mpcs have that problem in the first place, since only very few
complain about it.

i have payed 1050 $ for this used mpc1000-bk with 128ram/120gb +new pads
and the most annoying problem still remains..... *suck*

between filling the gap and adjusting the sensitivity the double triggering should stop.

i saw some thread somewhere where one guy used some round stickers.. that looked easy and neat...

The thing i liked about the stickers is they weren't permanent, they were small enough to only affect one pad at a time and since the gaps aren't all the same you can stack them to get each pad dialed in correctly

Looks like nobody mentioned this... the problem could be the OP's pad technique. Using the two-finger jab will get some double notes happening for sure..

come on. its nothing about the technique.. ofcourse i use one finger and bounce

btw pound i used lots of layers of maskingtape since i could not find any stickers like you response is way better .
i did get one or two ghost note while trying it out for a while with Full Level,

anyways all in all the pads is way better than the old ofcourse but they are way to expensive
