MY MPC Goes with me many places ( I carry my mpc like girls carry purses)so I thought would be nice to customize the look and create an even more inspiring design to look at than the stock blue and ketchup looking orange reddish so this is how it goes so far

design is what motivates me when working on a track.... inspiration.... it is

the graphic overlay will cover/replace all the blue/text on the factory faceplate
the the bottom will go down into the painted portion of the top faceplate



then I just painted the two side panels, the front of the faceplate and bottom
front plate and card reader slot frame .
I used red and white spray paint that has built in primer. 6 coats blended in a mist to give a freckled but smooth texture

I'm going to get the pad upgrade even though all 16 pads work fine still but might as well not wait til it happens
will get the red pads or black pads and maybe the blue lcd screen.

the case is just a 20quid mic case that I took all the deviders/foam out of.

my mpc fits in it so perfectly that Im trying to work out a way to have slim enough wooden cheeks that I can still use it.

I have the same case. I picked it up from a local Home Depot. If you use the original styrofoam that the MPC came with you just need to use 2 of the dividers in the back and on one side and it fits in there real nice. In my case I can put the 1k, and then on top the manuals, and wires for when I travel

That's part of the skin, but a seperate part, like the parts behind the q-link sliders.

just flips up and stays at 90ish degrees. I sometimes dream about converting it into a EMS-style thing with my Evolver in the top. But it'll never fit....

I designed it myself and got it made up at work.

May make some more up and put them on ebay, I put some more info in the thread 'free skin [if you're in the UK]'.

I think that'd look even better if you changed the 4 purple cursor buttons to white like the rest.
