Screensaver Mod

Can anybody tell me about this so-called "Screen Saver Mod" for the XL?
Is it geared more towards the 2000 since it has a history of lines developing in the LCD display? Or can it also be applied to the 2000xl?
Does it even exist? I can't find any info on it. Thanks in advance.

Never heard of it....
If you have to leave your machine on for long perioids of time you can change the contrast of the screen by pressing SHIFT and rolling the jog wheel.

never ever heard of that screen saver..but some cats have applied powr switches to it so you can wack it on and off...

I think what beat is referring to is this thing on ebay this guy has that is suppose to elongate the life of your screen but i have yet to hear of anyone using it.I was thinkin' about it but it just seems kind of odd...Peace.

Yep....I saw a guy on Ebay with an XL and in his discription he mentioned "Screensaver Mod". And I knew if anything like that existed, it would be Old news here in the forum with you expert Beat Miners...
