hello,I want to put a 25 pin scsi pci card to my pc, so I can plug an externa scsi drive 100 mb,so
I can transfer my samples to the 100 mb ZIP disc for my MPC 3000.
I found Koutech Single Parallel PCI (SPP/PS2/EPP/ECP) Card Model IO-PP110
and it is for Windows XP (my OS)

Will this work?

The card you have linked to is not a SCSI type.

This card you have liked to is in actual fact a PARALLEL port designed for communication with devices like older printers and industrial equipment.

You need a PCI SCSI card.

An old ADAPTEC one would be your best bet for Windows PC's.

Thank you Rohan !

I found this one : SCSI CONTROLLER ADAPTEC AHA 1505 SCSI ISA
I hope its good! :D

I also found a list of SCSI PCI CARDS for AKAIS:
"Now, we must choose a SCSI card for our PC - and this is a quite critical point. Firstly, go for ADAPTEC models and to be more precise the 1505/10/15/20 series and the 2940A one."

The ISA model you have linked to will need a computer with a legacy ISA slot.

Except for industrial computers, most current day "PC" types are not equipped with legacy ISA slots.

Adaptec "PCI" 2940 series as a bare minimum.

Which type of adaptec aha -2940 whould be prefered?
I see a lot of types, from 20 euros to 140 euros (omg)
AHA-2940, AHA-2940W, AHA-2940U, AHA-2940UW,

I found an aha 2940 really cheap (20 euros), but in the specs
I dont see windows XP (my OS) !

ADAPTEC 2940 series cards are native supported within WINDOWS 2000/XP.

Go for the straight out 2940 model.

It should work fine.
