This is what you have to do:
When using Windows 7, 64 bit, you have to load in the aksys program from the disc. Make sure all files are inside the folder.
Go to the Microsoft website and download the Virtual XP mode.
Update the Virtual XP mode.
Open Virtual XP mode and go to my computer. Load aksys in this mode.
Turn on your MPC. Click on USB drop down menu at the top of the window. Release MPC. Go to the device manager and update the MPC driver.
You want to manually look inside the hard drive that's inside my computer of the Virtual XP mode. The driver that you are looking for is in the folder that says Akai Pro. The driver name is akMPC4kU.
After you update the driver you should see a driver indicator called AKAI Samplers. Close the window in the device manager. Go to the Program menu and look for Akai Pro click on the Akai Pro shortcut. Ak-sys should now work.
