mpc 1000 data wheel problem

ever since i got the jjos1 installed, its been hard to select a specific anything using the data wheel. it's like it scrolls through two things per click (per click? lol i mean like the little click u feel when u turn it). im guessing theres a way to change the sensitivity?? ive been unable to find how and i know u guys kno ur shit so holla
