updating to os1, but asks for xl password

hey folks....

i wanted to update v 3.09 to os1 but the mpc 2500 wants to have the xl password.... any suggetions how to fix that?
cause i am thinking to get os2????

come on guys.... this looks to me like a noob question.....but maybe not.... cause you guys cannot say rtfm
