Samplekingz MPC videos

Anyone ever seen these or know anything about them. I feel like I'm doin allright on my MPC for my first month of use but sometimes when I read some of the posts on here I realize how much I DONT know about this little bad boy. Plus I dont know anyone who owns one so I'm goin at it all alone.

i actually got one thinking it would help me out. saw it once and didnt really learn anything, in my opinion i think practice makes best, instead of buying the video buy some sounds instead. if your really lost though then get it, it should help you out some

it's a waste of money. the sample kingz video is mad corny and as basic as it can get.

I would agree and say buy samples or outboard efx gear or upgrade the MPC rather then buy a video. Hell, I bet you could learn more trolling this forum for a month then you could off of the video.

yo just come on the forum all the time and try shti out...I was going to get those vids, but the forum is infinitly better

I've never seen the vid's, but d*mn, they sound MAD corny.

This forum, in fact MPC-tutor.com in general, has taught me GRIPS about my 2kXL. The tutorial's are a great place to start.

I bought both videos for the MPC2000XL from sample kings and a Zip disk full of 100mb of sounds. The first video is basically the owners manual on video. I learned some things from the second video. So over all I would say the videos are okay. Well if you are new to the MPC like I was then the videos will help you learn faster the just the manual alone. But you also have these great people on this website to help you, so I think it depend on the kind of person you are, handson or visual or both.
