These pads on Battlecat's 3000....

I figured this would be the appropriate place for it since it was a 3k, but in this vid Cat's MP has some serious pads they look larger than usual. I was just wondering if they are exclusive to the 3ks or can you get them somewhere and upgrade with them? Here's the vid:

Yup they are from Forat, he was using the Pad's from his custom F9000 drum machine back stock to mod MPC's until he ran out of them and i guess the price to get another run of them made is pretty costly according to Bruce. I think he has a few around but only for his custom builds of the F9000 and no amount of persuading will get him to sell you a set! Makes me think why doesn't VST have them made, they have all the other colors made why not fat pads'?

I emailed MPCstuff to suggest making the fat pad's, said they will consider it down the line so they say... I am not holding my breath but i said it anyway maybe they take up the idea! They also started carrying these Cork circles to put between the sensor and the underside of the pad's and this is supposed to improve the sensitivity of the pads. For me I have never had that problem so i am not sure the theory of this.... anyone buy these?

I knew I saw a pic of a clean one before.

Why do they seem to me like normal MPC pads with another set glued on top of then, cut out from a different one?
