MPC1000 - Akai Operating System [v2.13]

Hello!

Like i wrote some weeks ago, the Akai OS 2.13 seems to be out now ( http://www.akaipro.com/contentmgr/showd ... /1114/tt/5 )

The support told me something about sata-support etc.

I hope there isnt a thread with this information, i couldnt find one..

looks more like a joke.
SATA wouldnt be possible. or they will release an updated version with SATA BUS.
Could this be an hint to a new modell?

could it be suppprt for the new data wheels?

jjos had an update a while back to cater for new mpc's that were shipping with a slightly different data wheel.

but why would JJ than know that before everyone else?

The original poster bought an mpc with this os on it , long before the os was posted on the akai site.
JJ could have suspected something because of new users reporting data wheel bugs.
It is just idle speculation on my part, but it does fit with something that we know- newer mpc's have different data wheels that have to be coded for.
