finally someone with a real dog. I hate purse dogs. I don't like cats much either. Still don't feel they are on the level with people and if someone held a gun to my sons head and to a dogs head and said choose Id pick my son every time no hesitation.

Was not referring to having a choice between life or death of your pet vs your son.

was saying that when you were talking about getting blood all over your shoes from a pet getting on ya gear

to pet owners that is like saying

we would get blood all over our shoes if our kid got on our gear

I know is a line between your animal versus ya kid but would not want to bloody up either of them

Gertie... Where did you get the VP9000 with the card reader? I had no idea you could put one of those in there. Those things go cheap, and they are amazing samplers. That really makes me want to get one. Did you put that in yourself? If so, was it easy to do? How much did it cost you? Where's my money, and why is my lip all busted up?

I guess its easy to do. Simple as changing a disc drive. The VP9000 usual came with a zip drive installed and have a SCSI connector so I bet its a SCSI card reader connected to the internal SCSI bus.

Does that mean anything with a zip drive can be fitted with a CF reader? Does software come into play?

yeah, i installed the card reader myself...as peter says its quite straightforward...just take out the zip and plug in the card reader.
in the zip on the vp9000 theres a jumper on it (small tiny piece of black plastic)...i took this out and put it into the back of my card reader....my card reader is IDE Atapi which means its hot swappable.....these are quite hard to find these days....

hey IMNICE, im rocking the turbo sp12 and for sure its family! nice setup you got there
