Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I instaled the card reader in my Akai mpc 2000xl, and I have a problemm ...

The procees I made after hard instalation ...

1. Instaled the sistem 1.2 by SCSi in cd reader ...
2. Format in the pc by FAT de compact flash memory (Sandisk 2 gb ULTRA II)
3. Put in the memory the samples ...
4. Put the memory in in card reader
5. Star the Akai...

when I pres load SHIFT F3, the akai said ...

No floppy device !!!!

What it´s me problem??? ....

Card reader ... via mpcstuff
Memory ... Sandisk 2 Gb Ultra II Format by Flat in PC

Shift+3, SETUP tab, choose to startup on ATAPI.

Lampdog, I press Shift+3, then Setup tab, but only appear to startup on FLOPPY, SCSI, or F-RoOM, don´t appear ATAPI !!

Wtha dou you think it´s my problem??

If you don't see ATAPI in that menu then your.........

device jumper is not correct
device ribbon cable or power cable is not connected right
device is dead on arrival
or Lampdog doesn't speak spanish in pm's or in real life, lol.

the cable of power I only have 2 color, black and red... the other black and yellow it´s cut..
is this a problem??

If it isn't set to Master, then set it to Master. These IDE card readers only work when set to Master.

I do not understand how to put in Master ... sorry ...

Snap a close up picture of the drive and another close up of the jumpers and post it up so we can see.
