okay, first dont take this all too serious i just got this idea and thought i might drop a Question about it.
a while ago (like 2008-mid 2009) i was sampling like crazy instead of making music... i stopped that aproach since i got a good sampler back again and are back to making music! (the ASR saved my life
)
So in this period i had both, a LOT of really rare, hard to find and very expensive records with very delicious samples and i squeezed them out like a mad man.... AND during that time i also had quite some Highend Gear, like Neve Preamps and Tube Comps etc... wich i used for recording the sampels
both i sold, i couldnt justifie to keep that many rare and valuable records in storage instead of re-selling them... same for most of the Highend Gear... i am fine with what i have now.
so, to the point: i have this heavy amount of Wav samples archived on my Mac and i actually dont use it 95% eventho it was a HELL lot of work and it is fantastic material, but right now i am so much into digging new stuff being suprised when i hear a new sound on a new record and sample right away into my ASR... while not using any digital Source at all...
thats a bit esoteric and purist i know.
sooooooooooo, i just got the thought if i shouldnt offer this heavy Library (i think its like 3-5 GB !!!!) for sale.
i saw similar Sample CD sellings several times on ebay, so i think it cant be really illegal in matters of Copyright or!?
just would like to hear some thoughts and if you guys think there is "a market" for that...
i am not about making the big dough or going buisnessman in any way so please dont get worked out or anything.
peace
