Well I havent actually installed it yet but I'm hoping it works haha, it's the correct specification so should be fine!

I got it from ebay. Here's the link if you'd like it. I think they have more available:

What MPC1000 do u have : the old blue one or the newer black model?

I only ordered it yesterday so it should be arriving within the next few days. I have an MPC2500 (which requires the same RAM as the 1000 model) and I'll let you know how everything goes when I receive and install it :-)

Quick question: I noticed that the Akai EXM128 has only two memory chips on one side, but all the ram that I've wanted to purchase on ebay have four on one side. Does the number of chips matter as long as I follow the "PC133 144PIN CL3 SODIMM 256MB" specification?
