SAMPLING ON THE MPC 5000

OK, IM SAMPEING ON THE MPC 5000, I HIT RECORD BUT IT'S NOT SAMPLEING QUICK ENUFF?? DO I NEED TO UPDATE THE OS TO 2.0 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?

-Push the button before the time you want it to start then trim the front.
-check the threshold setting
-you should be using 2.0 if you are using a 5k
