How to sync tr-808 to mpc1000?

Does anyone knows how to sync tr-808 to mpc1000 (mpc1000 = master)?
I have tried with a midi to sync box, and the tr-808 receives sync, but it is totally random.

I have Roland MSQ-100, that someone told me could do the job, but I don't have any idea of how to make it work...?

set the msq clock to ext. midi and also set it to pass through to the din or c/v outs. Make sure your MPC is set to send sync over midi

TR-808 has no midi, so it's either CV (Control Voltage) 1/4" or din sync (looks like midi, but it's not)
