Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

yo.

got a question for you classic users, im an XL guy.

Ive seen pics of the mod where you hard solder a scsi cable to the motherboard...

was really wondering if that is a 25 pin job or 50?

ive seen pics somewhere. \

If I remember correctly... someone soldered an internal SCSI ribbon cable from the backside of the 25 Pin SCSI connector to mount an internal SCSI card reader in their 2000.

Don't risk it! We have an internal SCSI drive install kit for the MPC2000 Classic that requires no soldering or any mods at all. Our kit installs in about 15 minutes and comes with easy to follow instructions. Check it out on our website (see sig below).
