16 level root note cannot be changed

I've had this problem for years... When I'm in 16 level note on my 2xl , sometimes the TUNING -> ORIGINAL KEY PAD is inaccessible, stuck at e.g. pad 4 or pad 8. Just now I had I it set to 8, wanted to go back to change it to 4, but I can't since the "8" can't be highlighted any more. It seems like a bug to me, or at least I can't figure out why it sometimes does this and other times it's fine. Any ideas?

yeah i had this problem too till i changed my os to 1.14

before that i was runnin 1.20 without a mcd

Hmm, I'm running 1.20 now, but I think I had the same problem even before updating. It seems pretty obvious that it's a bug, but maybe someone's worked out a solution (like if you go to the TRIM SCREEN and come back again, you can change the value) - at least that's what I'm hoping..

Any thoughts?

Why not re-install the OS? 1.14 or even 1.2 ...
may be a bug cause of the download... :/

Workaround: Go to Main Screen, change the track to an unused one, hit 16 levels, change the root note, cancel,
go back to the track you want to record, hit 16 levels..

you're still not able to navigate to root, but it also holds still the value you had assigned it to on the other track.

hope this helps a little bit.. For me this works everytime..
But no idea what's the reason for it.. Anybody else?

Hmm, for some reason I couldn't get your tip to work, Phulk. Just changing the track (Tr- / Tr+) doesn't seem to have any effect.

Maybe on the other track you have to use another DRUM bank with another pgm assigned..
