I can load the samples and programs fine, but when it comes to assigning it to be used in a sequence it will not work. it won't give me the screen to scroll through the different programs. Anyone know how to fix this???? send help fast I'm in the middle of a session!!!!

On the Main screen Scroll down to the section that says Part 1 Program turn the jog wheel to the desired program.

Do you have the "program 1" high lighted before you turn the jog dial. A "Program List" screen showed pop up. Then you select the program.

it was weird because after i start the machine there is nothing in the "program 1" position and then i loaded a program and it wouldn't let me assign it. I loaded another program and still nothing. But then for some reason i loaded a mulit and then it worked fine. WTF?!

I recently wiped the hard drive memory because the studio i work at needs the sounds to be kept hidden. Could it be because there isn't a program that automatically loads when the machine is started?

If you wiped the hard drive then there is nothing to load.

yeah I had this problem too when using the clear memory(delete all) function.... Its just that theres no multi created to assign your programs to.

You need to have a Multi in memory in order to be able to use Programs in the MAIN screen.
If you want to have a empty Multi automatically created when you power up the MPC4000, set "Default Items: ON" in the GLOBAL page.
