Shopping for some good drums

Yo,I shopping for some good drums for the 2500. I got some programed now but I want more. I was checking out Supreme on youtube... just wanted to know if anyone has gotten any of his drums or would you recommend another site to get some grimey hard drums... let me know.

most people here don't buy drum samples... we sample our own. that is, after all, what a sampler was made for.

Buy sampled drums?

I would buy a jazz drum set though. A real one.

but there r sum real rare drum loops and chop out of sum of these

Deadly Drums and Filthy Drums are some really dope, grimey, and hard. Peep those for sure, and don't listen to these dudes sayin' they only sample their own drums, if it sounds good, it sounds good.

I personally would not pay for drum packs. Not saying I wouldnt use them though I just wouldnt pay for them. lol

It is supportive to pick up some of the drum kits sold here on this forum though. I hear some of the new kits are pretty dope!

If anybody has the Filthy Drums let me know. I have the Deadly Drums...

Drum packs suck! Vinyl rules!

There is no right or wrong way with music. As long as it comes out sounding good thats all that matters. Do what you got to do to get some heat going. When I first got my MPC 2500 I bought a drum kit from samplekings.com and I was glad I did. It takes alot of time and effort to build drum kits from scratch. You can get to that as you go on, but if you try and do that first you probably won't get the fat drums you want, and in turn won't make that heat you know you can which might make you not like making beats. They will mail you a flash card with a ton of drums. Also ask fools you know for drum sounds. I've gotten a lot of drum sounds from people I know. Some people are stingy but most aren't.

However, learning to chop your own drums will add to your skillset and make you less dependent on sample packs.
