Hello Guys,
I've been on the site for a few months reading some of the post. I'm just starting out with trying to make my own music. ( I'm board with program's like beatmaker ) I've been around music my whole life. I played the drums when I was younger and my mom played in the marching band in school. My dad was a dj but he sold all his equipment when I was real young. Id have so many more records right now.
I'm saving up to buy a mpc 5000 at the moment. I have very little equipment at this time. But I do have about 500 records to sample and 2 hand me down turntables.I'll be in the market for a Asr 10 or an sp 1200 after I buy my Mpc.
Lastly I mostly plan to make sampled hiphop beats but I listen and collect records from all over the place. When I can get some of my ideas out of my head and into the mpc, I'll post them up and see what you guys think.
