Sad part that's since I down-sized.
too much gear becomes a distraction at some point.

The Vinyl is getting to be a problem now, I think it's going to have to go in another room.
I really hate to move it since you can listen to something on Monday and hear nothing, come back and listen to that same record Tuesday and find 20 samples.
Makes me like to keep the vinyl close by and go out diggin for new at least once a week.

What are you using there to hold your vinyl?

Industrial shelves, it's about 350lbs of vinyl on each shelf so you can imagine how much weight is in a section.
I have tried many other solutions but they would eventually weaken and sag.
With more than 10,000 pieces it just seems logical.
If it wasn't for the concrete flooring I would have never made some of the sections go 10ft high.
That much weight in one area of a normal framed floor would be very stressful.

Been there, that's why I use these shelves, they are rated at 1200lbs per shelf so that's cool.
Have you ever seen a MC under vinyl? Not a pretty site.
When I was using cheaper stuff he was standing there and when the shelf began the sag and drop dance he tried to catch the vinyl. :shock:
Just been adding more as needed for the last couple of years and they handle the weight like it ain't no thang.
Most the guys I know get vinyl sample it and then get rid of it.

shi* all the room i got left is for my bed and kid toys!!!!!
