SCSI drive recommendations?

hi, new 2000xl owner here. the forum's have already been really useful for getting to grips with a few operational things, the search function has been invaluable!

i'm really looking for some advice on scsi drives - my mpc was supposed to ship with one but the guy didn't send it - he then refunded me some money and said he burnt out the drive while testing it! at least he gave me some money back...

i'll be honest, i know next to nothing about these drives, i figured the one he advertised it with would do me fine... so now i'm hunting around on ebay etc and not really knowing what to look for. any advice of makes/models/features would be much appreciated, then i can ditch the floppies!

spec wise i have the 2000xl with the 8 outs expansion, floppy drive at the front. i also have a PC with a bunch of .wav samples on that it would be cool to transfer in to the mpc.

CF drive, either internal or external is your best bet.
